AIR EVOLUTION, NAMED EXCLUSIVE TECNAM DEALER IN MEXICO

Capua– Today Tecnam Aircraft announced the appointment of Air Evolution as the exclusive dealer for sales and service in Mexico. Air Evolution will offer Tecnam’s complete line of light sport and certified single and twin engine aircraft. Mexico is an important market for Tecnam and with Air Evolution new customers and owners can expect a high level of service.

The first aircraft to be marketed will be the renowned P-Mentor and Air Evolution will be the point of reference for all Mexican flight schools.

About the P-Mentor

The P-Mentor is a two-seat aircraft, powered by a Rotax 912 Is, fully IFR with PBN/RNAV/AFCS capabilities, compliant with the latest CS-23 EASA & FAA amendments. The Mentor is a turnkey solution for many flight schools to train students from their first flight up to their CPL-IR on a single platform. With a variable pitch propeller, a simulated retractable landing gear and an optional ballistic parachute, the P-Mentor has everything flight schools were looking for in today’s market. The P-Mentor is designed to offer the best human-machine interface, resulting in the most effective and efficient VFR/IFR training. The generous fuel tanks allow flight schools to fly all day without refueling, which improves operational value. It has low fuel consumption of 3.70 US Gal/h (14 lt/h) and a low cost of operations with an average of $65 per hour.

FRENCH ATO MERMOZ ACADEMY EXPANDS FLEET WITH 10 P-MENTOR

With this acquisition the French academy has a fleet of 24 Tecnam aircraft

 

BERLIN – Tecnam and Mermoz Academy announced today, during Pilot Expo Berlin, the signature of a contract for 10 Tecnam’s P-Mentor for its fleet expansion program. The aircraft will be used for both PPL – Private Pilot License – as well as the MPL – Multi Pilot License – courses. One of the reasons for this choice, beyond the great fuel consumption rates, is the lowest CO2 emissions, that makes the P-Mentor the aircraft of choice for students and Flight Schools.

Tecnam Green Fleet.  Based on recent data and industry benchmarks, flight training schools operating Tecnam’s single and twin-engine fleets can save as much as 10 tons of CO2 emissions for every single student graduating with a Commercial Pilot License – a 60% reduction compared to legacy fleets using Avgas 100LL fuel. (Based on 155 flight training hours, including 30 hours on the twin.)
