TECNAM Commemorates Seventy-Five Years

Tecnam Aircraft celebrates seventy-five years with the first Astore P-48 in 1948.  Italian brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale started their legacy by gathering four non-working aircraft engines in a flea market full of post-war machines. They assembled a working engine for their first legendary aircraft, the P48 Astore, which first flew in 1951.

La Seconda Università di Napoli (SUN) conferirà la laurea honoris causa in Ingegneria Aerospaziale al prof. Luigi Pascale, già laureato in Ingegneria Meccanica nel 1948 e Chief Designer dell’azienda aeronautica TECNAM. La cerimonia avrà luogo giovedì 25 febbraio alle 10.30 presso l’Aulario aula 1A della SUN, in via Michelangelo ad Aversa.

Tecnam P2010 enters flight training service

Tecnam announced today that Bartolini Air, Poland’s leading Flight Training Organisation has become the first FTO to successfully employ the Tecnam P2010 into its commercial aircraft training syllabus.

The EASA certified Tecnam P2010 was recently accepted by Bartlomiej Walas, Managing Director of Bartolini Air, who flew the aircraft directly from Tecnam’s Capua production facility to Lodz Airport in Poland via a fuel stop in Bad Voslau, Austria.
