The Italian manufacturer showcases its relentless innovation with the debut of the luxurious P2012 VIP, the P2010 MK3, an upgraded P92 MKII, and a special delivery to the Tecnam Flight Academy.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – April 22, 2026 – Tecnam has once again taken center stage at the AERO Friedrichshafen exhibition, unveiling a spectacular lineup of new aircraft that highlights the company’s continuous drive for innovation across all aviation segments. From premium business travel to the future of flight training, Tecnam’s 2026 portfolio represents the pinnacle of Italian design, efficiency, and aviation passion.

As the show opened today, the company officially introduced three major product upgrades alongside a deeply emotional handover ceremony, marking a new chapter in the brand’s storied 78-year history.

The AERO 2026 highlights include:

  • The P2012 VIP: A stunning new iteration of the highly successful twin-engine P2012 Traveller. Designed to bridge the gap between regional versatility and high-end luxury, the P2012 VIP features a bespoke, business-jet-style interior. With premium leather seating, enhanced acoustic insulation, and state-of-the-art cabin amenities, it offers operators an unmatched combination of rugged P2012 reliability and exclusive executive comfort.

  • The P2010 MK3: The latest evolution of Tecnam’s famous single-engine four-seater. Building on its acclaimed spacious cabin and smooth handling, the MK3 introduces highly anticipated features, including a completely new interior design alongside premium options like a factory-installed air conditioning system and an advanced Garmin software package. These refinements offer pilots and passengers the ultimate cross-country flying experience with maximum comfort and advanced situational awareness.

  • The P92 MKII powered by the turbocharged Rotax 915iS: Tecnam has introduced a new powerplant option for its timeless, iconic high-wing aircraft. The integration of the 141-horsepower, fuel-injected Rotax 915iS engine brings unprecedented power, high-altitude performance, and modern efficiency to the beloved P92, perfectly satisfying the needs of today’s most demanding aviators and flight schools.

During the event there will be a very special moment: the unveiling of the P2008JC NG, featuring a historic family moment. Paolo Pascale Langer, CEO of Tecnam, will officially hand over the keys of the newly delivered aircraft to his daughter, Carolina Pascale Langer, Accountable Manager of the Tecnam Flight Academy.

“AERO Friedrichshafen is always a special place for Tecnam, but this year is truly exceptional,” said Paolo Pascale, Tecnam CEO. “We are introducing aircraft that redefine their respective categories—from the executive luxury of the P2012 VIP to the unmatched efficiency of our upgraded trainers. But on a personal level, handing the keys of our newest P2008JC NG to Carolina to serve the Tecnam Flight Academy is a profoundly proud moment. It represents our family’s enduring dedication to aviation, passing the torch to the next generation of aviators.”

Walter Da Costa, Tecnam’s Chief Sales Officer, added: “Our 2026 lineup proves that Tecnam never stops listening to our customers. Whether an operator needs a luxurious twin-engine VIP transport, a highly capable family four-seater with brand new air conditioning and Garmin avionics, or the most efficient flight training fleet on the market, we have the perfect, modern solution ready to fly.”

Attendees of AERO Friedrichshafen are invited to visit the Tecnam booth to experience the new P2012 VIP, P2010 MK3, P92 MKII, and P2008JC NG firsthand. Additionally, a Tecnam P2012 STOL is on static display just outside Hall 4 for visitors to explore.
