Tecnam adopts new local sales events and expo strategy for 2015
With the recent expansion of Tecnam customer service and sales centres to over 100 global locations, Tecnam today announced that it will be adopting a new approach in exhibiting at aviation expo’s.
With the proliferation of so many event opportunities worldwide, the Tecnam dealer network in particular feels it would be more beneficial to showcase Tecnam aircraft in a local setting, as opposed to requiring its potential customers to continue to attend major General Aviation shows on an annual basis.
Local expos where Tecnam will be exhibiting in 2015 include
14-17 January: US Sport Aviation Expo, Sebring, FL, USA
8-10 February: Abu Dhabi Air Expo, Al Bateen, AE
18-22 February: Aero India 2015, Yelahanka AFS
24 Feb’ – 1 March: Avalon 2015, Geelong, VIC, Australia
22 – 26 March: Saudi Air Show, Dammam, Saudi Arabia
21-26 April: Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In, Lakeland, FL, USA
29-31 May: AeroExpo UK, Sywell, England
30-31 May: Aerosport 2015, Barcelona, Spain
4-6 June: France Air Expo, Lyon, France
20-26 July: EAA Air venture, Oshkosh, WI, USA
25-30 August: MAKS 2015, Zhukovsky, Russia
15-19 October: CIGAC 2015, Xi’an, China
28 Oct – 1 Nov: AERO Asia 2015, Zhuhai, China
8-12 November: Dubai Air Show, Dubai, UAE
With respect to AERO Friedrichshafen, Tecnam will not be participating at AERO 2015. Tecnam may return to it in the future, although not necessarily on an annual basis. Following both an internal analysis and customer survey, it was felt that a bi-annual time frame for a General Aviation expo such as AERO would be better for Tecnam to showcase new aircraft products and related services.

TECNAM traces its roots back to the activities of the Italian brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale, who developed and produced innovative aircraft soon after the end of WWII (1948) and have continued ever since to create original models that gained worldwide recognition under the name Partenavia. Established in March 1986, Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM now operates in three production facilities. The Casoria facility is located adjacent to Naples Capodichino Airport. The Capua facility is located adjacent to the “Oreste Salomone” Airport. Recently a new facility was established in Sebring, Florida, USA to serve and support the needs of Tecnam North American based owners and operators.
